Jeff joined the firm of Sewells in 1985 and became a partner of that firm in 1990. Jeff attended Monash University where he attained a Bachelor of Ecomonics in 1982 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1984. He was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1985. Jeff has been involved in many different areas of law and currently much of his work involves general civil litigation including commercial law with particular emphasis on commercial leases and purchases and sales of businesses. Jeff has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants in the Supreme Court, County Court and the Magistrates' Courts and in many of the VCAT Tribunals. In recent times he has represented both Executors and Plaintiffs in disputes over the adequacy of provision made for relatives or friends under Wills of deceased persons. Outside of work Jeff's interests revolve around his family including four children. |
