David joined the firm of Sewells in 1988 and became a Partner of that firm in 1989.

David attended the University of Melbourne where he attained a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws in 1976. He was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1978.

David is married to Christine and they have three children.

Outside of work David enjoys ballroom dancing, rock 'n roll dancing, swimming, gardening and spending time with his family.
